free work order software

So I was talking with a friend and I think Iapos;ve come up with how I want to do my hair next...but I donapos;t know if itapos;s possible (or the best way to do it).

Iapos;d like to dye my roots Napalm Orange and then do my tips Bright as F@# Yellow. I have shorter hair (faux hawk style) so it usually ends up spiked up. But, I have no idea how to get the color in correctly.

Is it possible to dye one piece of hair two colors? Should I start by dyeing everything yellow and then adding the orange to the roots? Would it get everywhere? Would it be easier to just do the roots first and then work on the tips? Should I do them both at the same time or do one first, let it dry then put on the next color? Am I just crazy for trying this?
